Big day today as Richard and I celebrate 10 years of working together.  What an achievement in itself, not only putting up with me for 10 years, but all the things he has achieved along the way.   I do not even know where to begin to share all the things Richard has accomplished.    10 years ago it was a struggle for him to walk around the block twice.  After only a few weeks of training I was soon telling Richard to run those blocks and to run twice as many as everyone else in the group. 

Richard is the guy who if I told him to show up at 5:30 am every day to get some extra work in, he would be there.  If I told him to sign up for a specific race, he would sign up.  I once suggested he do the Blitz Duathlon on back to back days (7km trail run, 20km bike, 3.5km trail run);  and guess what, he did it.  Not only did he do it but he improved his time on the second day.   

He is always open to trying new things, never complains about anything just comes in and works hard.   He made a decision 10 years ago to get his health in check and he has been giving it 100% ever since.  In 10 years he has only missed one workout due to sickness!!

So congrats Richard on everything you have achieved.  I look forward to another 10 years of challenging you.
